and yes, that was a good movie, period. indeed valhalla rising takes stuff from it. no, black death looks nothing like it. i know it was a good movie because it stayed with me.
also, it has a shakespeare touch - maybe the tragedy of it all? a madman in lust with power drags everyone to certain death. it also has some apocalyptic overtones and that helps.
on other news: OBH just sort-of-sexed cupcakes. it was really lolarious in that he had undepants on - srsly people, a sheet would have been much much more convenient. or fade to black. or close-ups of the faces and maybe torsos ANYTHING but those underpants!! just brought his sexy down a notch as in hey baby can i sex you with my briefs on?
