so it's been a loooooooooooooooong day at work ohmygod you-people-aren't-paying-me-enough. however, the horoscope :D. sadly, not even my libran natural tendency to sugar coat everything can't cope with the planets at this time. in short: it sucks. and it will still suck till the sun will move its butt next week out of the cross of hell. we'll still have a t square, but, like, whatever.
i had a discussion on the fascinating subject of principles. i have surprisingly few compared to other people. "live and let live" and be nice to everyone if possible, that's about my motto. i also believe in civility and little white lies. why should you hurt someone's feelings by saying "you look awful" when you can smile prettily and say "you're fab". honestly, it makes everyone happier.
i'm doing considerable progress on the dress for my friend, considering the small amount of free time i have. go me!

also i was up at 5? because stress tends to do that to me. but after tomorrow i'll be vacationing! and i'll be doing nothing! and that makes everything okay!!!

got digi cable tv but honestly, it's just a whole lot of bs. and i queued for an hour for that. it doesn't have hbo! it doesn't have discovery id!
since eclipse premiere is approaching and there's an ebook online called "the short second life of bree tanner" (great title) it crossed my mind to write a certain brand of fan-fiction. "a date with edward cullen". first-person perspective, of course. as in, he never meets bella adoraklutz swan but a normal woman, like me. fine, i am not the definition of normality. whatever, i'm just having fun here.

in the wake of the new eclipse clip, when i first somewhat liked bella swan. well, actually, the whole scene is completely out of character and appears nowhere in the books, which is probably why i liked it.



her reaction is totally aries. she's all "you lied to me" and "you, why didn't you answer my calls?" and then she runs off into the sunset with hotass jacob, and edward just stares. yay! she didn't do that in the books! thank you, david slade.
also, jacob is a lot like an aquarius. because 1. the whole "i had nothing to say" line and then walking off
2. he likes and older girl
3. his love-interest is unavailable, but that's ok, because her edward obsession turns him on even more. i mean, if it weren't for the sparkler, jacob would have so moved on with his life. but no! you know, he would have loved her even more if she was a million miles away.
now i can't wait for the woods scene.... mmmmm twinkies!

p.s. i don't agree with people who say the books are better than the movies. movie-bella is much better than book-bella in that we don't get to hear her whine so much. and movie-bella actually runs off with hotass jacob in front of edward and they don't do that in the books.
p.p.s. i'm listening on repeat the whole three soundtracks.

you know, aside the obvious unholy attraction these movies/books represent (as cleolinda would say: TWINKIES!), there's one good thing about them. the soundtracks. always so OMG. seriously, i put them on repeat because MUSE! THE EDITORS! MUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUSEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!! and other unbelievably awesome indie songs which totally deserved a better movie than sparkly fuckwittery.
the eclipse soundtrack is just as great as the previous two. especially the florence and the machine track "heavy in your arms". talk about ball and chain type of love.

Over the waterfall" i'm all like AHAHAHHAAAAHAHA THAT'S SO EDWARD AND BELLA. ESPECIALLY BELLA, for countless reasons.

this definitely looks good. hey, it's a movie about a knight, namely Sean Bean, being very knightly. which is totally appropriate, considering that he's a Ram and deep inside they're all longing to put their armor on and righteously kick some butts. plus, he gets to be the star, and there's no Aragorn around to stop him. does this sound like a great subject for fan fiction or what? you know, as in Boromir who is not really dead and survived through the ages and now is a knight in medieval England? and that the necromancer (i am not sure there is one in the movie, but the girl in the trailer somewhat seems to be it) is actually a minion of Sauron? Who is also not dead? and of course, it was him behind the Black Plague, but Ramzilla Boromir totally stopped it and saved mankind and then looked at the sky and was all like "beat that, King of Gondor!"

was up at 6 am this morning, just as i usually do in summer. silly dog is still sleeping.
last evening i saw "the men who stare at goats" - jolly good fun and a trip to the wacky side of life with hippies, goats, military and lsd. and of course, ewan with his baby blue eyes. looking at him, you'd want to take him home and hug him. of course, you have to remember he's also a ramzilla. but he's so cuuuuuuuuuuuuute. and acts like a lucky star.my personal lucky star.
