when i can't find the books i want to read. like cold skin. look, gimme gothic horror stuff which sounds oh so slightly lovecraftian and i'm going to love it and hug it like whoa. good thing they're making a movie though, maybe this way it'll creep into the bookstores and stuff. and it's being made by david slade, which should be interesting and he's better deliver what i imagine this movie could be. i mean the antarctic! the weather official! the strange lighthouse keeper! the reptilian monsters! oh, the bleakness of it all! oh, the strangeness, the horror and the inevitable "who's the real monster here" question!
